what lisa is saying is perfectly correct.. Islam, Christianity and Judaism are are peaceful religions at heart, violence is always discouraged and only ever allowed in times of war. Therefore all efforts should be focussed on resolving pre-existing conflicts and not on expanding ridiculous invasions (which america claims is to fight terrorists). The entire existence of modern islamist militancy can be traced to the creation of the Israeli state, a complete expulsion of its jewish population is obviously not possible so a compromise must be created (such as pre-1967 Israel) which would at least give the Palestinians part of their land back and allow further diplomatic engagements. In turn this would please the Muslim majority and ease tensions, removing the support for militant islamists, and furthering the prospect for peace in the middle east.
