Bush AdministrationReader comment on item: Pipes criticises Middle East leaders Submitted by Larry A. Miller (United States), Jun 14, 2006 at 15:51 If President Bush started all of the middle east policies you would have a better point. I too am sad that he has not broken off many of the deals brokered in the past. Saudi is not our friend period. The real hard thing to understand is OIL. There is plenty of oil in the world and the USA does not need to go to the middle east for oil but we keep doing it. Not only do we keep going there more and more but we make deals with people that use our money to kill us. This is just crazy but it proves just one thing. GOD said this was going to happen thousands of years ago and he tells us what will happen before he returns. GOD said he would blind the hearts of men and man would make deals for wine (oil) and trade there morals etc. We see the USA trading moral values every day for oil we dont need again we have plenty right under our own feet. Your comments are correct and we need to stop all of these deals. Regards Larry Miller Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
