It is the same, old storyReader comment on item: Pipes criticises Middle East leaders Submitted by Octavio Johanson (Italy), Feb 14, 2005 at 17:45 Daniel Pipes is on the right truck because he is a conservative or , at least, I assume he is.If Daniel Pipes was a liberal, he would never dare to criticise Middle East leaders. It takes a conservative to do it. Daniel Pipes refuses to appease Middle East leaders exactly as his conservative forebears refused to appease Soviet communists during the Cold War (1945-1989). If liberals had had it their way, we would be all communists now. Daniel Pipes criticised Arafat before and he criticises Abbas and the other Middle East leaders now. Liberals call him (and those like him) a racist for speaking the Truth. Daniel Pipes is not a racist, nor an Islamophobe. He is right about corrupt Middle East leaders (The EU wasted a lot of Euros for the corrupt Palestinian authority). As during the Cold War, conservatives are right and liberals are wrong. And Daniel Pipes is correct about Middle East leaders. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
