Nabil, I agree, re the academics it's pretty outrageous. What's your point? A bunch of no-good shabbily dressed smelly lefty tossers with bad combovers vote for a boycott against Israel, and what? Brits who visit this and like-minded websites are more than happy to admit there is a problem in UK, too tolerant or laissez faire, or perhaps there are even more cynical motives( we do have substantial interests in the Middle East). But it's a pretty long bow to say that because the state is soft in some areas 'the British' are wholesale pandering to the Islamic world. 4 Brits were killed in Iraq yesterday, 2 soldiers and 2 journalists.

There are thousands of British troops in southern Afghanistan, last week there were pitched battles with the Taliban. I lived in Finsbury Park and Arsenal for a while, walking past the Finsbury Park mosque every day, I know what it means to live in a neighbourhood seething with jihadis. Like most people, most, in UK I object to the incompetence of the Home Office. It infuriates me that my taxes go to paying the welfare cheques of these 5th Columnists. Demand away of the Muslim leaders, by the way, see where that gets you. The day after 7/7 all these leaders could talk about was the need to protect Muslim communities from a backlash. Understandable perhaps because of course if Christian terrorists had committed a similar atrocity back in, say, Pakistan, as sure as prayers on a Friday they would have been torn limb from limb.
