Conspiracy theory as leftist weltaanschauung - can OBL read english?

Has anyone ascertained if Bin Laden is capable of reading english - let alone Blum's book? The sudden rush to buy Blum's 'bizarro world' tome after a perceived terrorist endorsement shows how conspiracy theory is 'salon fahig' among the left.
