The World of Fatwas

Reader comment on item: The War on Campus

Dr Pipes, you should read a very thought provoking book called "The World of Fatwas" by Arun Shourie (considered by many to be India's greatest living journalist). This book focuses completely on the psyche of Indian muslims and gives a shocking glimpse into what is taught around the country in thousands of madrassas or religious schools. I believe Americans can learn a lot about the unique mentality of the muslem world.
