Who is more stupid

Reader comment on item: Stupid Terrorists

Submitted by Leo Tokman (United States), Oct 4, 2005 at 13:23

Dear Dr.Pipes,

As stupid as these guys are, our government's politically correct approach to security is probably not much more intelligent. Specifically, the absurd statement that "terrorism has no nationality or religion" that, in turn, prohibits profiling during airport searches and in other situations, is not adding to our security.

Luckily, a few of the geniuses that you're listing here tripped while executing their plans, but let's not underestimate the enemy. There were those who successfully carried out their plans on September 11, despite our vast intelligence database and a few mistakes that the terrorists made along the way.
