Adna has more than one meanings

in response to reader comment: More disasters for our dear Fork and this time translations of the Qur'an

Submitted by Fork (Pakistan), Dec 16, 2019 at 20:11

Like I said before, Adna has multiple meanings. It means low, inferior, less and near.

The early translators interpreted 'adna' as near. No one is denying this. Is this too hard for you to comprehend? Why do you keep posting different translations and tafsirs when we are in agreement on this?

The translators and mufasireen interpreted 'adna' as low in chapter 7, verse 169. Look up translations and Tafsir Kathir for this verse.

The word after adna is 'ard' which means earth. Look it up.

The Quran doesn't say the earth is flat. This is another ignorant claim and a lie.
