Updating Henry Kissinger's Jordan, Israel, Palestine Plan

Reader comment on item: Why Israelis Shy from Victory

Submitted by Robert (United States), Oct 13, 2018 at 10:08

Dear Daniel Pipes,

Here (below) is a Link to a current article by a Middle Eastern scholar/journalist who doesn't appear under your radar (I searched your Web Site Pages) who has, I thing, a very good vision of where the Trump Administration - under the excellent helm of National Security Council head, JOHN BOLTON, is steering (in my opinion). Shehab Al-Makahleh, it's author, does not explicitly compensate for the fall of the Soviet Union and the neutralization of the Oil Cartel (OPEC) threats (to state merely the 2 major changes that favor America's strategic considerations):

"How Kissinger drew up the future of Jordan, Israel and Palestine"

Friday, 21 September 2018, Shehab Al-Makahleh, AL ARABIYA

https://english.alarabiya.net/en/views/news/middle-east/2018/09/21/How-Kissinger-drew-up-the-future-of-Jordan-Israel-and-Palestine.html

The so-called Mainstream Media, besides its constant efforts to depict Trump as incompetent, has primarily emphasized that IRAN is the reason for the Arab states to draw closer to Israel. But this is merely one factor among the many others I've named in my other Comments on your Middle East very well informed Web Site.
