Metal detectors on the Temple Mount and in Mecca

Reader comment on item: Foreword: Why Islam's Reformers are Vitally Important
in response to reader comment: Islamists hypocrisy

Submitted by Carl Goldberg (United States), Jul 20, 2017 at 12:38

There is a big difference between the acceptance of metal detectors in Mecca and the rejection of metal detectors on the Temple Mount. The Palestinians are protesting against the "Zionist metal detectors", that is, they are protesting against the right of the Israelis to force them to go through metal detectors because to do so would be a sign of submission to Jews which is absolutely forbidden by Allah in the Koran.
