Vote for Trump

Reader comment on item: What's a Conservative to Do? Vote for Pence

Submitted by Arthur Copeland (United States), Oct 18, 2016 at 10:57

I believe you're right to suggest that the best path for this country would be to elect and then impeach Donald Trump thus elevating Mike Pence to the presidency. However, this cannot happen unless Trump is elected president. I would submit that every vote for Pence makes the election of Hillary Clinton more likely and that voters agreeing with you and hoping for a Pence presidency in the near term should be advised to hold their noses and vote for Trump.
