... The Soviet Union fell only when Gorbachav began the dialogue with the United States. Letting Radical Islam take over the religious discourse will only strengthen its hold on countries such as Iran. I feel that instead of a Soviet Union we will have a Chinese model of Iran without moderate leadership. I don't think the clerics are as weak as we think they are.
