When British India was partitioned in 1947, the Hindu population were 22% and 29% in (West)Pakistan and East Pakistan(now Bangladesh respectively. The corresponding figures today are less than 1% and 7%. If Islamic elements capture power, the nonMuslims become Dhimmis and may be forced to embrace Islam.
