Reader comment on item: A Conspiracy Theory Spreads Polio

Submitted by John (United States), May 24, 2005 at 17:04

Misinformation has become an acceptable strategy for Islamists since the Grand Mufti al-husseini first began his campaign against the Jews in the 1920s.

Quite often at a protest you will meet many people who believe all or most of the following conspiracies/propaganda: Israeli Apartheid, AIDS, Sterilization, War for Oil, US War Against Islam, Man on the Moon hoax, There is no Terrorist threat, etc....

Why? Because hatred is the biggest obstacle to reason.

I got my own conspiracy theory, listen to this... There are people in this world that believe in Jihad and that Islam is at war with Judaism and Christianity. These people will conspire to kill innocent civilians to advance their cause. They will also spread baseless propaganda against their enemies hoping to inspire their followers to commit further acts of violence.

How come conspiracy theorists never came up with this one?
