This is from 2005 Al Bawaba (www.albawaba.com) Posted 29-09-2005
The Yemeni 5th anti-polio campaign was kicked off in all governorates. The campaign targets about three million children under five years old, SABA reported. More than 40,000 health workers are participating in the three-day campaign. Polio is highly infectious desease. It invades the nervous system and can cause total paralysis in a matter of hours.
