Lee, you also forget the legions of Western abolitionists--especially in Protestant countries--who pointed out that slavery instituted in the Old Testament was limited when it involved another Hebrew, and geared more to the discharge of debt, while skavery as practiced in the antebellum South scarcely approached Paul's advice to Philemon in the New Testament.

And, why don't you write a letter to the learned 'Ulema at al-Azhar, asking them what would become of war captives (especially female) in a world where Islamic Sharia and culture are dominant?
