The American Justice system is flawed.In some states the death penalty still stands while in others it doesnt.So if a criminal commits a crime across state lines they may get jail instead of the death penalty. If the criminal happens to have mental issues no matter how well he managed to function in society he may not get the death penalty at all regardless of his/her heinous crimes.Im still old fashioned even though some of you may think Im very liberal.I believe if someone rapes,murders they should get the maximum penalty..especially for crimes against children.
