What governments cannot do, people canReader comment on item: Egypt's Sham Election Submitted by Prashant (India), Dec 11, 2011 at 22:31 Dear Dr Pipes: Reader Sally Wilton suggested that the western government should stop aid to dictatorial and non-democratic regimes. Governments may or may not do what people want but people can act on their own. How about buying products manufactured in democratic countries? How about buying stocks of Israeli companies? How about taking your next vacation is a country that supports freedom? How about buying Canadian oil instead of the ME oil. Let us impose our own sanctions on countries that curb freedom.
