Plans for peace between Israel and the Palestinians is a pie in the sky. Financial aid to the Palestinians is like throwing money down the drain. Why? because there is a blood hatred that exists between Israel and all Arabs. This began long ago and will continue till the end. It has everything to do with their religious beliefs.
Jerusalem will be a major problem for any nation that gets involved in this dispute, and all nations eventually will. This is ordained. Taking the Palestinian side is like stepping into quicksand.
Israel will always exist, much to the fustration of many nations (and the UN).
The United States would be well advised to stay out of this business of establishing a state for the Palestinians at the expense of Israel. But we won't. And I fear this will cost us dearly.
