Mr Pipes,

I do appreciate the lengths to which you went to respond to my comments. However, I sincerely believe Stoimer and you did not do proper respect to history. I am extremely familiar with the times to which you refer from my own military background, but from historical perspective, it is not merely the industrialists involved as with Rothschild and Rockefeller, but a whole roster of treachery and un-american activities documented in the McCormick-Dickstein Committee of the 74th Congress that could have caued thousands and thousands of deaths before and during our involvement in WWII and even afterward. The one lone voice condemning the sloppy treatment fot hose activities for which no one was even indicted was a Senator named Harry Truman. What those folks did was at least as bad as those Stoimer went after. Further his idea was that virtually anyone called a Liberal likewise suspected of being a communist, an a pproach that caused immense tragedies. In the final analysis, Stoimer was hardly much of a historian, and 25 years later did not make him a better one.
