Islam/Judaism viewsReader comment on item: The Jewish-Muslim Connection: Traditional Ways of Life Submitted by Sara Adam (Canada), Oct 15, 2004 at 20:27 This was quite interesting actually, MOST of the things were more or less in favour with my faith { Islam } however in one part I do disagree \"Theologically, the Old Testament is central to Judaism and Christianity, while Islam ignores the Bible in favor of the Qur\'an.\" In Islam to be a true follower you must accept and believe in all of God\'s \"Books\": The Torah, The Quran and The Bible. So you misunderstood, we do believe in the teachings of God prior to Islam. And you forgot to mention one thing the biggest difference in Islam and Judaism the latter do not believe in the Prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h), and soley follow the practices of Prophet Moses. It was nice seeing others' intrepretations.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
