I have never understood the "war on terrorism". Terrorism is a word that describes and act. I don't know how to fight a war against a word that describes an act. We are fighting against Islamic militants who are nothing short of barbarians. It is about time the President calls it for what it is and bluntly tells us the truth.

Information is power and we need this type of information to be ready to fight this war at home. By this I mean being ready to keep our way of life moving forward in the face of 911 type attacts at home. If we allow these fanatics to distroy our economy, then they will win. Americans must be blunty told this. We must have the intestinal fortitude to stay the course with our plans and actions regardless of any fears we may hold. To do otherwise will not only bring us down but the rest of the industrialized world will surely follow. The resulting depression will make the crash of 1929 and its aftermath seem like a cakewalk.
