Half fought wars end being lost wars

Reader comment on item: Victory – An Obsolete Concept?

Submitted by cornsyrup (United States), Aug 11, 2009 at 00:18

We are losing this war because we started fighting it half ass and we still are. Right from the start
we should have gone 100% all out. Drop the 101st airborn division in to surround Al Qaida
and the Taliban in the mountains and then send in the Marine Corp to go up and kill them all,
who ever escapes the 101st finishes off. If we did it that way its possible that the many countries
would have called us barbarians but guess what, it would have been a long time before any
country would have harbored American hating terrorist.
