What is Victory?

Reader comment on item: Victory – An Obsolete Concept?

Submitted by vigilant101 (United States), Jul 26, 2009 at 11:01

First of all if we don't know our enemy and we don't have any goals and we make the rules of engagement as we go along. There will never be a Victory over our sworn enemies. Once again we see our president pandering and sucking up to the world while denegrating his own country. and we the American people. He might be the first black President, be he's also the first president to shower Americas enemies with appeasement while callling other nations as heroes, when we all know the country that has fought for and along side other countries for freedom and victory over oppresive gov'ts and rutless dictators. I just hope that we as a nation founded on the prinicples of Jefferson. Wahington and the PATRIOTS who shed their blood, sweat and tears for our independence to let us all live to see the NEXT ELECTION!
