Shahada and Al fatiha

Reader comment on item: [Khobar Rampage:] "Don't Be Afraid, We Won't Kill Muslims"

Submitted by Thomas Haidon (New Zealand), Jun 8, 2004 at 20:41

As a Muslim, under normal circumstances I would be concerned at non-Muslims falsely saying Shahada. However, you are right on point, perhaps it could have saved them.

I would say that these phrases are essential for any non-Muslim travelling to a Muslim country. I would also recommend that non-Muslims carry copies of a Qu'ran with them, so they can produce it on sight if needed. You have once again, aptly and rightly shown what a sad and pathetic state Islam is in. The agenda for an immediate Islamic reformation cannot begin soon enough.

Thank you.
