I find very sad your recommendation to memorize muslim prayers in order to save our lives. I see this as the ultimate in dhimmitude.

Not so long ago, Spanish Jews faked conversion to christianity in order to avoid death. The Spanish inquisition was set up specifically to sort real from fake christians. Are we going to see an arab inquisition?
