Warding off the killers with prayer

Reader comment on item: [Khobar Rampage:] "Don't Be Afraid, We Won't Kill Muslims"

Submitted by Edward Cline (United States), Jun 8, 2004 at 14:25

Dear Dr. Pipes:

This was a very interesting article. But, I am an atheist (raised in a Catholic household), and so not likely to say the Lord's Prayer to save myself from President Bush's faith-based domestic and foreign polcies, never mind a Moslem prayer to save my Nick Bergian neck from Islamic Fundamentalist killers. If necessary, I'll perform a Todd Beamer, thank you very much, and take out the killer before he takes me out.

Sincerely,

Edward Cline

Yorktown, VA.
