Is Islam Tolerant

Reader comment on item: America's Crash Course on Islam

India has experienced over 1000 years, the so called 'tolerence in Islam towards the so called 'non-belieivers. Please read 'Millitary History of Medeival India by Lt. General Gurcharan Singh Sandhu. It is full of brutal massacres and massacres. Forcible conversions. Destruction of temples, rapes and all other possible sins. I would only say this was the worst and darkest time for India. If you say that they were all psedo-islamists. Then true islamists would be in hundreds only.
