IT MIGHT TAKE TWO

Reader comment on item: America's Crash Course on Islam

Submitted by leo solomon (Israel), Sep 13, 2007 at 03:39

What should be reitterated over and over again has disappeared completely from any discussion of Iran's nuclear ambitions.

Rafsanjani (the moderate) made two speeches ,some years ago now, wherein he stated 'Iran's intention to use Iran's first nuclear weapons to destroy Israel.

In his second speech he said it might take two to achieve complete destruction. These speeches caused a brief flurry of interest, then disappeared from the radar. He used no euphemisms or metaphors -as has the radical Ahmadinijad-he said" NUCLEAR WEAPONS."
