Why does the freedom we stand for in the us attract those that hate freedom?Reader comment on item: America's Crash Course on Islam Submitted by janet griggs (United States), Sep 25, 2007 at 10:05 I have been so irritated by the recent events at Columbia with the president of Iran and his lies and avoidances to the truth. What did they expect from him, he is, according to all I have learned, allowed to lie in the face of the enemy, making truces he intends to break, for the sake of jihad. If I have access to this informaiton in Nowhere, S.C. then everyone should be able to attain it. If they really wanted to know the truth they would go to all lengths to find it. The bible is very true in the scripture that states, only those of the spirit can understand the things of the spirit. The others walk away scratching their heads! Just yesterday, I ran into a friend of my son's, a liberal, who still believes it is all the presidents fault we are in Iraq. I asked him if he heard the comments on the news in Columbia today. He didn't bother, he only gets his information from Current news channel. No wonder he is so indoctrinated to hate the things of this free country. He would gladly take a handout from the government, but hates it at the same time. Doubleminded! If he never opens his mind to a different side of the truth, he will always believe the false truth fed to him by mindless liberals!
