Dr. Pipes, What is the solution to this issue you speak of?Reader comment on item: Who Won in Israel's Elections? Submitted by John Douglas (United States), Feb 11, 2009 at 17:38 Dr. Pipes, You state that "Israel's "final enemy" may finally, be joining the battle. The consequences of this for the Arab-Israeli conflict as a whole could well be profound." What are your proposed solutions to this issue? Perhaps Lieberman's party winning so many seats may cause the Israeli Arabs to realize that they would be better off living alongside the Jews in Israel then being stripped of benefits and citizenship. are there any solutions that you have to these problems you mention? There is nothing sacrosanct about the 1949 armistice lines. Once the external Palestinians really do end their war to eliminate Israel, I see creative boundaries taking care of much of the Israeli Arab problem. Comment on this item
