The Israeli Moslems have the perfect situation -- life in a US-subsidized Western democracy AND impending reconquestReader comment on item: Who Won in Israel's Elections? Submitted by Charles Martel (United States), Feb 11, 2009 at 16:26 The Arab Moslems left in Israel in 1948 are like a slow-growing infection that Israel acquired in the womb, and after 60 years they have grown to a significant tumor that stands to outweigh (and kill) the host in a foreseeable period of time. They live freer than any other Arabs in the Mid-East and better than in any local non-oil-exporting country, and just by staying explicitly (but comfortably and passively) disgruntled citizens, they are covered if/when they become the majority and Israel votes itself out of existence. I don't know what Mr. Lieberman proposes to do about this, but he certainly correctly identifies a fatal illness in Israel's body politic. I don't have an answer -- if Israel expels them as they need to, they will be pilloried as fascist vampires, and our beloved President Hussein is definitely not going to go out of his way to help.
