Ifrahim, your message is a good one; the one Jesus gave us. But even Jesus hated those things that deserved to be hated - His actions against the moneylenders in the temple being one example.

I respect your view as being noble, for sure, by idealistic and, excuse me for saying...naive. Of course we would all want to love our neighbors and get along in this world with everyone. How is Israel supposed to do this when they have a neighbor who teaches their children to hate them and to grow up to be martyrs killing Jews? How is Israel supposed to live peacefully with a people who have ignored the peace process and so-called cease fires, time after time after time, and rain down missiles upon Israeli neighborhoods and send terrorists into their country to blow up civilians on buses, in cafes, at clubs, and otherwise innocent people going about their daily lives peacefully?

How can you live peacefully alongside a people whose very mission statement is based on religious ideology and calls for your death and destruction. You can preach "Love thy neighbor" all you want, but your neighbor is a barbaric terrorist whose very purpose in life is killing you and working toward your destruction...and you're going to love that?

Some things in this world deserve our hatred, because if we don't hate it we legitimize it and allow it to flourish; things like people teaching their children from the earliest age to hate you and to kill you, or men who strap bombs on themselves and come to kill you when you're just a ten year old kid going to school on a bus or a young couple on a date in a cafe, or people supposedly talking for God who tell you in a house of worship to find Jews everywhere in the world and murder them, or when a group of villagers use their holy book to justify honor killing a young girl because she dated a boy without her father's knowlege or permission, or a book that orders its followers to hate Jews and kill unbelievers. The list goes on.

I don't hate non-practicing Muslims, but I think I'm right, after educating myself on Islam, to hate Islam and practicing Islamists. It deserve my hatred because it is an obtacle to peace in this world, and the source of so much death and misery.
