Israel should stop making bold statements!

When Israeli politicians make an announcement like the one to get rid of Hamas, they create a common goal for Muslims at large. We cannot ignore the obligations that Muslims feel toward each other when a brother is under attack.

For years, the Palestinians have used tactics which are ineffective and cause very few casualties, but they seem more than willing to continue these 'symbolic' attacks on Israel. It is similar to the attack on 911...The attack itself caused relatively small damage because it was symbolic, but it filled a nation with fear and a blood lust for revenge. I think that the Israelis are beyond fear now, and the attacks are a tiresome irritation that must be confronted. Backing down and making concessions in the face of the Hamas' symbolic attacks, will simply cement the Hamas belief in the effectiveness of their tactics.

Israel must do what is right for her people, and confront these honorless dogs who use willing civilians to hide themselves. Who encourage women and children to use their own lives to protect the fighters. If the Hamas would stop using civilians, even not so 'innocent' civilians, I personally might look at them as an honorable people who are fighting against insurmountable odds, but to hide behind the civilians puts them very low on my respect scale. An honorable fighter will use all measures to protect the civilians, and avoid drawing enemy fire on a location which would endanger children and women. Instead we have an ideology which encourages these same women and children to be willing to put their lives in danger to create a further symbolic gesture of sacrifice for a cause that they believe in.

We are coming to a point in history where we can see the willingness of such a large amount of men women and children in Palestine to fight and die for their beliefs and soon, sad to say, we will need to admit that the enemy that cannot be fought IS the women and children as well. Because they are willing contributors to the conflict. Israel faces a difficult scenario of fighting an enemy that must be protected against itself. Protecting the willing women and children who crave their destruction... So sad, and so honorable on the part of Israel.
