This is an easy question; Islam is the answer. There can be no argument that the status of the female within the mythology embraced by the Muslams is dismal, as so effectively demonstrated by the foremost teachers of the mythology, the Taliban. Muhammed and the hadith as well as the koran clearly teach the lowly status of females.

It is true that there is adultery and 'fornication' in Western culture, as there is in the regions of the planet occupied by the Muslams. These are simply weaknesses in human character, no ideology can eliminate these human weaknesses, not even the brutality and inhumanity of the mythology of Muhammed.
