Dear Prof Pipes,

Islam might not have introduced Harems, but definitely institutionalised it.

Muslim leaders in liberal democracies demand Shari'a but why do not they demand multi-party secular democracy in their country of origin which will give dignified life to the non-Muslim citizens.

Not for nothing, the late Mr Hamid Dalwai(1932-77), an Indian Muslim intellectual lamented that Muslims by and large lack the capacity to introspect.
