a revert to islam

as a recent convert to islam, i take offense at what you have posted. "Islam cannot be premitted to be legally practiced in America any longer. It includes murder and that is all the reason we need to outlaw it." any proof of that? I'm a practicing Muslim, and I'm really not interested in killing anyone. if anything, Islam has made me a more understanding and compassionate person. i love people who love God, whether they follow christianity, judaism, or no religion, and all I really want is to be a good Muslim.

most of my friends aren't muslim, but i absolutely love them. I'm 17 now, probably at the stage in my life when i'll be the most hot-headed, and i'm completely against the murder of innocent people (aka terrorism). there is something seriously wrong with muslims who only feel hatred toward non-Muslims instead of loving them (i believe that you don't have to be a Muslim to gain God's pleasure) and those who commit acts of terror will have to answer to God eventually. so please don't attack my religion... those people you speak of call themselves muslims, but they are a disgrace to islam. i have the same frustration at these people as everyone else in the world. at 17 years of age, i can't make much of a difference, but i hope that in the future i can change it.
