Why only the Jerusalem PostReader comment on item: But he was good to his mother: Murdering for militant Islam Submitted by Jonathan D. Safren (Israel), Dec 3, 2003 at 05:05 Dr Pipes,Your article "But He Was Good to His Mother" is of importance to any one who wishes to understand the dangers of militant Islam and take precautions. It deserves an international audience. It is therefore disappointing that it was published only in the Jerusalem Post, an Israeli newspaper of limited circulation, known for its right-wing opinions and therefore discounted by many, rightly or wrongly. Is this because you purposely submitted the article to the JPost, or because no mainline English newspaper was willing to print it? If the answer is the former, please consider publishing it in the U.S. or some other English-speaking country. If the latter is the answer, then I am doubly disappointed and deeply worried. Sincerely yours, Jonathan D. Safren Kefar-Sava, Israel Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
