URGENT - COLUMBIA IS ABOUT TO GRANT MASSAD TENURE

Reader comment on item: Backhanded Endorsements of Campus Watch

Submitted by GARY PAXON (United States), Oct 21, 2007 at 22:53

I am writing as a concerned Columbia student to let you know that the Middle East Studies department is about to grant tenure to Joseph Massad. The provosts' office denied him tenure, but the department is appealing to reverse the decision. Please, please intervene as this guy is a nightmare. We need outside pressure to prevent the original decision from being reversed. Thank you.
