Try human being, not non-Muslim

Reader comment on item: Too Many Mosques?

Have we mentally capitulated already by even how we use ‘our' Queen's English? The prolific references to us in this site as ‘non-Muslims', is a measure of implied Dhimmi status. I am human, fortunate not to be born, assimilated, or converted to what we call Muslims.

Why don't we re-own our language so we can win the conversation? Start right now, by referring to Muslims as Muslims . . .

?*" . . It is also bizarre how we in the west - as smart as we think we are - are not connecting the dots." (Psychological language intimidation and implied Dhimmitude)

Well, fix it hereafter and connect these dots.

*One who controls the meaning and intent of the words, controls the conversation.

Don (Pakistan) :"I wonder what the ratio is of Muslims moving to the West to non-Muslims moving to Islamic countries."

Corrected: "I wonder what the ratio is of Westerners moving to Islamic countries to Muslims moving to Western Countries?"

Daniel Pipes too: ". . . such as permitting non-Islamic religious buildings and services in the kingdom for the millions of non-Muslims who live there."

Corrected: ". . . such as permitting religious buildings and services for the millions of Westerners who live in Saudi Arabia on equal par with the Muslim religious buildings and services there.

Throughout Pipes' site, MSM and debates the corrections are well over due.
