Reader comment on item: [Brandeis University President Jehuda] Reinharz, Israel and Me

Submitted by Carol Solfronk (United States), Feb 14, 2007 at 21:02

There are those who cannot see and there are those who will not see. If Brandeis will not listen, there are Christians who will listen, who are listening and are willing to support Israel.

For whatever reason this man Reiharz has forgotten his past , perhaps thinking he will be safe from the Islamic terror to come---he is sadly mistaken. In my opinion Dr. Pipes, you are casting your pearls before swine. Like the prophet Jeremiah's warnings, no one WANTED TO HEAR, but it did not change the outcome. Jews and Christains should unite to sound the alarm of the dangers Islam poses to both America and Israel. When I write my senators and representatives, I always ask them to support Israel at all costs.

If Israel falls, then we will quickly be next and all the liberals in the world will not be able to save those who would not listen or see the truth. It is a very sad situation to see these things occur in our universities who claim to be on the side of freedom of expression for ALL (except for those who have a different opinion from their own). Dangerously sad.
