Islam by concept is FUNDAMENTALIST -- reply to Sergey

Reader comment on item: Documentary Exposes Radical Muslim Rhetoric
in response to reader comment: Radical Islam. The word 'Radical' seem redundant.

If one talks to an Islamist, he will tell you in plain and blunt language, that it is wrong to call Islam as 'fundamentalist' , because, according to Islamic concepts, Islam is Fundamentalist. Hence 'fundamenalist islam' and 'Islam' are synonymous.

So, let us stop differentiating between 'moderate' muslims and 'Radical Muslims'. They are Muslims (and hence, by definition, fundamenatalist). Let us stop looking for 'moderate' muslims; 'so called moderate' muslims will be wolves (i.e. Islamists) in sheeps' clothing.

One could say 'Actvist' muslims and 'passive' muslims. However, beliefs of both of them are IDENTICAL.

Sooner, we learn this, the better.
