Don't Judge

Reader comment on item: Jihad through History
in response to reader comment: A Challenge to all Muslims

All your "points" have nothing to do with what jihad actually is. First of all, there're are several forms of Jihad. A translation of the world means "struggle." In other words, you are giving your best effort to please and follow the religon of your Lord. This can be a self struggle, where you try to stay away from what Allah has said is haram or it can be a physical struggle, where you fight to defend or save your religon. there are rules that have been clearly stated in the Qu'ran. killing innocent people is haram no matter who they are.

If they are the people from the group you are fighting and they are innocent bystanders then you cannot harm them. What these suicide bombers are doing now is not Jihad. killing your fellow Muslims is not Jihad. What you are seeing today is the opposite of Jihad because it makes the world not like Islam. Muslims are very peaceful. Suicide is haram so I don't see how suicide bombing can be considered jihad. true jihad is nothing like what you see today. so do not judge what you don't understand.
