Our Man in the Trenches

Reader comment on item: Jihad through History

Submitted by Dave M. O'Neill (United States), Jun 23, 2005 at 01:44

Please drop copies of Mr. Cook's book on the Jewish Theological Seminary. The other day in the subway after a friendly shalom to a guy in a yarmulke I sat down and we started a conversation about the current situation in Gaza, the peace process, etc. After a few minutes I was starting to get slightly angry with his slightly pro-Arab comments and said you sound like someone from the Jewish Theological Seminary--he looked at me and said "I teach there"

I got up and walked away shaking my head. Maybe God is on their side!
