There's a fundamental difference, Ahmad Can you really see 'the Christians' trying to 'claim' Jerusalem from the Jews in quite the same manner as the Muslims do? Not very likely is it? Especially given that they virtually gifted it to them in '47!! It's perfectly obvious that it only has value to Muslims as a bargaining chip to demand yet more scraps from the metaphorical Jewish & Christian tables. We've all seen how the withdrawal of a little aid drives the Palestinians into a frenzy. If they spent as much time working productively and less time frothing at the mouth in a religious frenzy and homicide bombing life would be so much easier for them. We are not morally obligated to feed them forever. They don't need us. They can eat grass. Or oil.

As far as the more intellectual members of this forum are concerned I'd be grateful for a little clarification on Jewish belief (this is out of curiosity rather than hidden agenda!). While it is perfectly obvious to all that Judaism doesn't regard Jesus as the 'Messiah' is Ahmad Zahire's statement that Jews 'don't believe in Jesus' accurate? Does the Jewish faith explicitly deny that a person calling himself Jesus Christ ever existed, irrespective of religious significance? If not, I'm perplexed as to what Ahmad's point is! It's as ridiculous as considering the Jesus of Islam & the Jesus of Christianity as having anything more in common than a name. No true Muslim can offer any insight into Christianity as the Koran explicity states that the Trinity of Christian (Catholic) belief comprises of God The Father, God The Son, and Mary(am). If the Koran is 'the direct word of God' it means that this particular god is either iliterate or ignorant and, by definition, not a god at all..............................................

Or the delusional rantings of someone who freely admits to occasional demonic possession. Hardly confidence inspiring. The truth is out there but you won't find it in 'a muddy puddle', Harrak.
