Trying Harder..uh!Reader comment on item: What Jewish Ties to Jerusalem? Submitted by Harrak (Canada), Jun 26, 2006 at 11:05 you said :(The Bible is considered as one of the most reliable available documentary sources for the events and places mentioned in it for several reasons) I say: The bible is the book that tries to sell insurance for afterlife. I know what I want and I want it now.. The bible is a non-western democractic document. It talks about Adam and Eve but about Adam and Steve. The Bible does not fly to see how rounded the earth is. It sees it all flat. Bible fans see it all flat too. (This is acknowledged even in your Koran ) I say: here is an example of hebrews seeking to be ligitimaized in the Quran. Some people use Islam and Jihad when needed..for example legitimacy, fighting the other etc.. (either real or imaginary) I say: imaginary ( the Promised Land of Canaan.) Isay: if god promised you the land of Cannan, not the same god can promise that same land to Muslims..that is why I spoke about the war between the gods and the fact that the one that pays more will win -example, heaven, women etc..- (THEY NO LONGER EXIST!) who Cannanites! I don t think so..Muslim radicals also say that real Jews no longer exist..so a lot is being shared between the enemy cousins. (The Jewish People is -are- the only people on the face of this Earth who have an authentic written document which proves that their land, the Land of Israel, was given to them by God. For this end, the crude Islamic forgery of the Holy Bible cannot hold water!) Authentic document...that made me laugh with tears..You gonna have to deal with other people who have their authentic documents aswell... (Quasi-naive)...I say: Ultra-Naive seeking academic survival.
