the fact that there are whackos in other facets of life does not in any way dilute that theres some serious problem the world is facing because of Islam. more important than obnoxious muslims is Islam itself, which has a core ideology that aims to destroy everything else and professes to kill all people who do not accept Islam. now am sure a lot of muslims will come up with stupid phrases in their books that talk about Islam's tolerance. but its all a facade.

the fact that dangerous muslims are a small fraction, does not help. what is the benchmark of measuring these dangerous people? this fraction is significantly higher if u compare it to similar elements in other religions and ideologies. you need 1 terrorist bomber to disrupt life of 1000 normal civilians. before one embraces the thoughtless ideology of secularism that all religions should be treated equal, one has to think as to why should one do it, unless all religions do not treat other religions equal.

Islam clearly derides other religions and has hostile tendencies towards them. in this scenario, having a secular ideology, stemming out of thoughtless liberalism is stupid. how can people respect and love me, if i profess and intend to destroy and kill them.

Islam's greatest friend is the mindless, baseless and stupid liberalism and self hate thought process.
