Reader comment on item: Backhanded Endorsements of Campus Watch

Submitted by Arnie Servais (United States), Apr 18, 2006 at 10:40

Given some of the anecdotes one reads in the news around all parts of the US, I believe that a watch should be kept on some of the instructors and speakers in secondary schools as well. I remember a few years ago dropping in on an assembly of my daughter's high school where the historian Howard Zinn was speaking shortly after the September 11 attacks and he described our response in Afghanistan as terror on the that country. I and several other parents complained to the principal that the students were not getting a fair and balanced viewpoint, but I wonder how many other leftist agenda speakers and instructors continue to fly under the radar.
