Reader comment on item: The Snipers: Crazy or Jihadis?

We all need to be right in our facts when commenting on Islam, the Middle East, Israeli / Palestinian Conflict, etc......... Daniel Pipes has done an excellent job in this regard. Please keep up the great work; don't give up, people are listening and the word is getting out.

I would like to comment on Nadir's remarks - "The truth is out there for those who really want to find it! You just have to take the time to look, and when you find it, accept it with an open mind and heart."

I think I read somewhere that said: "If the lie is big enough and told often enough, it will be believed." It appears that a good part of the world has bought into the lie, that Israel is the aggressor, and that the Palestinian people are the victims in this conflict!
Please don't get me wrong, I feel for the Palestinian people, just as much as I do for the Jewish people - but the Palestinians have been pawns, first used by their Arab brothers in the region, and now by Arafat.

I also remember reading, and I quote, "Yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity serves only tactical purposes. The founding of a Palestinian state is a new tool in the continuing battle against Israel -- Zuheir Muhsin, late Military Department head
of the PLO and member of its Executive Council, Dutch daily Trouw, March 1977"

Propaganda has been a tool, that the Arab nations and the Palestinians have learned to use well over the past 50 years. The real truth is out there, and cries out to be heard.
