What does expanding NATO in the Baltic achieve; if the Russian thought NATO expansionism as it had perceived six month ago was enough to commence the global imbalancing act in the Ukraine (ambitions of empire still indeterminant there), then the original reluctance of Turkiye ceding and allowing the States of Finland and Sweden only make sense after Turkiye was able to get acquiesence on complicit military actions against those who are involved in the unstable parts of both Turkiye and Syria, already engrossed in terroritorial skirmishes with Russian intrventions and military activities that are part of a bracket tactical strategy that will subsume the entire region in world changing manifestations that are subliminal to the morphing dynamics that will make the 'Green Peace' dealings look like a G7 Tea Party, needing only a Disneyesque backdrop of the Matterhorn to enhance the 'Cumbayah' sense of being delusional in trying to get a peace deal from nuclear wielding autocrats that do not seek such.
Folks, the issues are deep seated and without any common consent or common sense guiding any of what is going on, where does anyone see as the proximal conclusion when computer hacking for launch codes appears to be the only progress potentially being seen? Publishing photo ops with props does not get it done. NO acceptable concessions are appearing on the horizon and contentions for the Black Sea are increasing when, in irony, Russia says any action to return the Ukraine to its previous sovereignty will be construed as an act of war: what does the Russian think is at stake now? This is not a replay of the former invasion of the Third Reich: the stakes are much higher now. The Russian has optioned any peace as sacrificial to his ambition and there will be a no return policy issued against Russia. It is the written rule against totalitarianism, somehthing taught from the Stalinist era that apparently nobody is willing to learn; not even in America. Alinsky did not learn it; neither will his heirs (the Soviets took three generations to find out).
